Shielding bags with a moisture barrier are designed for vacuum packaging of moisture-sensitive components and printed circuit boards. Dry-Shield 3000 meets JEDEC requirements and is used together with the specified amount of desiccant and a humidity indicator card (HIC) to ensure optimal protection. The bags are particularly suitable for long-term storage, vacuum-sealed storage solutions, and the handling of highly moisture-sensitive devices (MSD). They feature an extremely low moisture vapor transmission rate, with an MVTR of less than 0.00035 g/100 in² per 24 hours, are weldable, and are marked with the product name, ESD symbol, recycling symbol, and batch number. The typical surface resistivity Rs for both the inner and outer layers ranges from 10⁹ to 10¹⁰ ohms. The bags comply with the requirements of IEC 61340-5-3, MIL-B-81705, IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033, and EIA 583.
